AN ACT relative to exempting public school early childhood programs from certain regulations

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 54 subsection (b) of chapter 15 of the General Law, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “childhood programs”, the following words:-

“except when said service provider is a public school, or public school program subject to the regulatory jurisdiction of the Department of Early Education and Care.”

SECTION 2.  Section 54 subsection (i) of Chapter 15 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the words “childhood programs”, the following words:-

“except when said service provider is a public school, or public school program subject to regulatory jurisdiction of the Department of Early Education and Care.”
