AN ACT relative to residents of nursing and assisted living facilities

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any special or general law to the contrary, nursing home and assisted living facilities administrators shall conduct background checks of all potential residents to promote a safe living environment and for the protection of all current residents.
