AN ACT providing for the proper furnishing of ballots in the Commonwealth

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 40 of Chapter 54 shall be amended in line 14, by inserting after the words “Thirty-seven.” inserting the following:-

“All ballots prepared and furnished by the secretary of state for use in the elections of state officers and all ballots prepared by city or town clerks for the use in elections of city or town officers shall be equal to the number of registered voters in each precinct.”
