AN ACT providing for regulation of health insurance rates

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 175 of the General Laws is hereby emended by inserting after section 108G the following sections:-

Section 108H. Any company issuing a policy of insurance under the provisions of sections 108 and 110 shall annually file a schedule of its rates with the commissioner of insurance for approval. No such policy shall be issued until such approval is received.
