AN ACT relative to the cancellation of insurance policies

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Chapter 175 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 110K the following section:-

Section 110L.  Every company which issues a policy of insurance under the provisions of section 108 shall, at least 45 days prior to any cancellations, notify the insured by registered mail.
