AN ACT providing for fee waivers for veterans attending state colleges and universities

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Chapter 15A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 19 the following section:-

Section 19A.  A veteran, as defined in clause Forty-third of section 7 of chapter 4, who attends a state college or university shall have his fees waived for so long as the veteran maintains a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, notwithstanding the number of hours that the veteran attends such college or university.
