General Court for legislation providing tuition to
children of state employees killed on duty. Higher

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, any child of Steven L. Adams of Templeton, a state employee killed as a result of an accident while in the performance of his duties at the Templeton Developmental Center on December 29, 2000, shall be entitled to a state funded scholarship equal to the full cost of tuition upon acceptance at a public higher education institute in the Commonwealth.
