In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

AN ACT relative to chief court officers and first court assistant chief court officers

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, chief court officers of the Trial Court shall receive the same salary as a chief probation officer; and provided further that, notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, first assistant chief court officers of the Trial Court shall receive the same salary as a first assistant chief probation officer.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect on January 1, 2007.
