Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 8 of chapter 258B, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “child”, in line 10, ” the following:- or a youthful offender.
SECTION 2. Said section 8 of said chapter 258B, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “delinquency”, in line 11, the following:-or as a youthful offender.
SECTION 3. Said section 8 of said chapter 258B, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “defendant”, in line 48, the following:-or a juvenile adjudicated delinquent or as a youthful offender.
SECTION 4. Said section 8 of said chapter 258B, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “defendant’s”, in line 51, the following:-or the juvenile’s.
