In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

AN ACT governing removal of certain occupants to clients of the Department of Social Services

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 17A of chapter 186 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 official edition, is hereby amended by striking out in line 4 the words “of mental health”.

SECTION 2:  Subsection (a) of said section 17A of chapter 186, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-

 “As used in this section, “department” shall mean the department of Mental Health, Social Services or Transitional Assistance”.
