In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

AN ACT establishing a minimum wage for large employers

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 151 is herby amended by adding a new section:-

SECTION 1C.  Any person employed in an establishment 75,000 square feet or larger and  employing 150 or more employees shall be paid a minimum wage of $10.50.  This act shall take effect on January 1, 2008.
