AN ACT to reduce the abuse of oxycontin

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 94c of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 18 the following section:-

Section 18A. No practitioners shall issue a prescription for the drug oxycontin unless he has had at least 8 hours of pain management training.
