In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

AN ACT authorizing the boards of selectmen of Dukes county to designate members of the advisory board

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 28B of chapter 35 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, each board of selectmen in the county of Dukes county may appoint a designee who need not be a member of the board of selectmen to serve on the advisory board on county expenditures.

SECTION 2.   This act shall take effect upon its passage.
