Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 10 of Chapter 13 of the General Laws as most recently appearing in the 2002 Official Edition is hereby amended by striking the third paragraph, and inserting in place thereof the following:
Members of the board shall, subject to appropriation, be paid one hundred and five dollars for each day or part thereof spent in performing their duties, and shall receive their necessary traveling and other expenses while engaged in the business of the board, provided that the amount for expenses shall not be more than fifty dollars per day, except for traveling expense which shall not be more than thirty-two cents per mile in addition.
Section 2. The provisions of this act shall be effective on July 1, 2008.
