AN ACT AUTHORIZING PAUL CHAPMAN TO RECEIVE A SALARY AS A POLICE OFFICER IN ADDITION TO RECEIVING A RETIREMENT ALLOWANCE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 91 of chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, Paul Chapman shall be eligible to receive a salary for his service as a police officer in the town of Avon in addition to receiving any retirement allowance from the Norfolk County Retirement Board to which he becomes entitled as a result of his years of service as an employee of the public school system of the town of Avon and shall be exempt from both the maximum number of hours restriction and the maximum salary restriction for this employment under paragraph (b) of said section 91 of said chapter 32.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
