In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

AN ACT regulating public employee retirement boards.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

 

SECTION 1. Section 20 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1998 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following:

In subsection 3(b) by adding at the end, “no executive director or executive officer shall be eligible to serve as an elected member," and further amended in subsection 4(b) by adding at the end, “said third and fourth member shall not be the executive director or executive officer of the board,” and amended in subsection 4-7/8(b) by adding at the end, “said third and fourth member shall not be the executive director or executive director of the board.”
