Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 32 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out section 90C ½, as added by section 109 of chapter 194 of the acts of 1998, and inserting in place thereof the following section: -
Section 90C ½. A state employee or member of the state teachers' retirement system who has been retired under the provisions of this chapter or similar provision of earlier law on a super-annuation, accidental disability or ordinary disability retirement allowance and, who has completed at least 25 years of creditable service shall have his retirement allowance increased to an amount nor to exceed $18,620; provided, however, that such allowance shall be subject to the provisions of paragraph (e) of section 102. Any such adjustments shall be paid from the Pension Reserve Investment Trust Fund.
