In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

AN ACT extending creditable service for Peace Corps, Vista, Americorps and Teacher corps service

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is amended in line 343 by inserting after the words “Peace Corps” the following: --

                Volunteers In Service To America (VISTA), Americorps, or Teacher Corps

and in line 345 by inserting after the words “public school guidance counselor” the following: --

            or faculty member, professional employee or librarian employed by the system of public institutions of higher education as defined in Chapter 15A, section 5 of the General Laws.
