Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 10 of chapter 250 of the acts of 1883 is hereby amended in the first sentence by striking out the words “a public safety officer in the division of law enforcement of the department of fisheries, wildlife and recreational vehicles or a campus police officer at a state or community college” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- a public safety officer in the division of law enforcement of the department of fisheries, wildlife and recreational vehicles, a campus police officer at a state or community college or a police officer at the University of Massachusetts.
