AN ACT relative to the Massachusetts State Police

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 7(d) of chapter 150E of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section (q), the following section:- SECTION (r):  sections one through thirty-one, inclusive, of chapter twenty-two C.

SECTION 2.  Chapter 22c of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section three, the following section:- SECTION 3a:  Notwithstanding any inconsistent or contrary provision of any other section of this or any other chapter of the general laws, the Colonel shall comply with and shall require the enforcement of all provisions of the collective bargaining agreement entered into pursuant to chapter 150E by the Commonwealth and the employee organization representing the bargaining unit of the non-commissioned officers of the department.
