Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Upon the acceptance of the city/municipal council or town meeting, the legislative branch of the municipal corporation, the municipality with the coordination of the board of assessors and treasurer shall have the authority to issue tax bills on a pro-rated monthly basis and taxpayers may pay real estate taxes early on a voluntary basis.
