AN ACT relative to the state board of building regulations and standards

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 94 of chapter 143 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in subsection (i), the second sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:-

Fees for such licenses shall be collected and retained by the commonwealth; of which 25% or $600,000, whichever is greater, of the fees for such licenses shall be retained by the Department of Public Safety, Board of Building Regulations and Standards for the Administration and Enforcement of the Construction Supervisor License Program.
