AN ACT amending the open meeting law

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Section 23B of Chapter 39 of the General Laws is hereby amended repealing subsection (6) and replacing with the following:

"(6) To consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property, or to discuss strategies in preparation for contract negotiations for cable television licensing, if such discussions may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the governmental body and a person, firm or corporation."
