In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

AN ACT relative to vehicular rental transaction contracts in the city of Boston

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Subsection (e) of section 9 of chapter 152 of the acts of 1997 is hereby amended by striking out the word "Fund." And inserting the following words:- Fund; provided further, that said surcharge shall not be imposed on a vehicular rental transaction if the person making application for said transaction possesses a valid Massachusetts driver's license issued pursuant to section 8 of chapter 90 of the General Laws.
