Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 52A ˝ of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 3, 4, and 5, the words “ and who chooses to participate in a Veterans Day or memorial Day exercise, parade or service shall be allowed and granted a leave of absence” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- shall be allowed and granted a leave of absence on Veterans Day and Memorial Day.
