In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

AN ACT conforming the date for observance of Public Employee Appreciation Day in the Commonwealth with the national observance of Public Service Recognition week

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 15TT of Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words, “in June”, and inserting in place thereof the words:- “on the first Wednesday after the first Monday in May.”

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
