AN ACT relative to tax credits for the restoration of historic barns

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Relative to Tax Credits for the Restoration of Historic Barns.

Section 6J(b)(1) of Chapter 62 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as so appearing,  is hereby amended by inserting at the end of subsection (i) after the words “and consistent with such criteria” the following:- “; and further that at least one per cent of the tax credits shall be allowed to projects that rehabilitate historic barns whenever possible and consistent with such criteria.”
