AN ACT to further promote rail trail revitalization of certain discontinued railroad rights of way.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Chapter 21E of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting the words “or Commonwealth Executive Office of Transportation” after “Authority” wherever it appears in the definition of "Economically distressed area'” and in clauses (a)(10), (d)(1) and (d)(3)(F) of the definition of “’Owner’ or ‘Operator’” in Section 2.
