AN ACT concerning the World War II bonus

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, a person shall qualify for the bonus created by chapter 731 of the acts of 1945 if he served in the armed forces of the United States between September 16, 1940 and July 25, 1947, has been awarded a world war two victory medal, and has received a discharge or release, other than a dishonorable one, from such service.
