Patricia A. Haddad and Stephen R.Canessa (with approval of
mayor and city council) for legislation to authorize the
certification and eligibility as firefighters in the city
of Taunton. Public Service. {Local approval received.} |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary regulating maximum age of applicants for eligibility as firefighters, Bradley Fitzgerald, now of Winter Street, Taunton, James Cambra, now of Berkley Street, Berkley, Robert Chase of Taunton, Steven Baptiste, now of Mador Avenue, Taunton, and Timothy Larkin of Lakeville, shall if they meet all other requirements, be eligible for certification and appointment to the fire department of the City of Taunton.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
