AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE ANNUAL OBSERVANCE OF MASSACHUSETTS NONPROFIT AWARENESS DAY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 15DDDD the following section:-
Section 15EEEE. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the second Monday in June of each year as the Massachusetts Nonprofit Awareness Day, in recognition of the outstanding contributions of the Massachusetts nonprofit sector to the general welfare of the people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, said day shall be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
