AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE APPOINTMENT OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS, TOWN COLLECTOR AND TOWN TREASURER IN THE TOWN OF ORANGE.

SECTION 2. Notwithstanding section 1, any incumbent in the offices of board of assessors, office of collector and office of treasurer on the effective date of this act shall continue to hold his office and to perform the duties of such office until the appointment of a board of assessors, town collector or town treasurer, as the case may be, to perform such duties pursuant to this act.

SECTION 3.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
