An Act
relative to the appointment of a certain civil service class as firefighters
in the city of Boston. Be it enacted by
the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by
the authority of the same, as follows: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary regulating the civil service appointment of firefighter, the next original appointments to the lowest title in the regular Fire Department force in the City of Boston shall be made from the class designated as Fire Fighter Certification #28 – 0786, dated August 12, 2008 and August 15, 2008. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage and shall expire on June 30, 2011. |
