AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND IN MILFORD

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  The commissioner of the division of capital asset management and maintenance shall, in consultation with the Massachusetts National Guard, notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, convey by deed a certain parcel of land and structure(s) located at 24 Pearl Street in the Town of Milford, currently being utilized by the Massachusetts National Guard, to the Milford youth Commission after said property has been declared surplus by the Massachusetts National Guard pursuant to chapter 7 of the General Laws.

SECTION 2. For consideration of said conveyance, the Milford Youth Commission shall pay a nominal fee to the commonwealth for the land and structure(s) described in section 1. Should the Milford Youth Commission cease to use the property as a youth center, the property described in section 1 shall revert to the division of capital asset management and shall be disposed of as surplus property in accordance with any applicable rules and regulations. The Milford Youth Commission shall be responsible for any costs associated with the conveyance of said land and structure(s).
