Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 119 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 22, as appearing in the 1998 Official Edition, the following section:- Section 22A. The department shall provide written notice, return receipt requested, to persons providing foster care to any child in the custody of the department at least 7 days in advance of any court proceedings affecting such child.
