Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
The division of purchased services, as established by section 274 of chapter 110 of the acts of 1993, shall provide in its regulations that in the case of contracts for multiple years for the purchase of social services as regulated by said division, the amount(s) payable by the commonwealth shall be indexed and adjusted according to the estimated rate of inflation submitted by the division to the secretary of administration and finance by the first day of December every year.
