AN ACT RELATIVE TO PHYSICIAN ADDRESSES

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 5 of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "inclusive", in line 123, the following paragraph:--

The home address and telephone number of physicians licensed pursuant to M.G.L. c.112, § 2, and the name and home address and telephone number of a family member of such physicians, shall not be public records in the custody of a government agency which maintains records identifying such persons as falling within such categories and shall not be disclosed, provided, that the physician has provided said government agency with a business address for dissemination to the public upon request.
