Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 5 of Chapter 123 of the General Laws is hereby amended by deleting the last sentence and inserting the following new sentence:
“The hearing shall be held at the facility unless the person, the court, and the hospital request that it be held at an alternate site, or develop a mutually acceptable alternative method of holding the hearing”.
