Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 11W of Chapter 23 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 4, after the words “accompanied by a”, the following,
“$35”
Section 11W of Chapter 23 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by striking out the third sentence.
Section 11W of Chapter 23 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by inserting after the second sentence, the following:
“The apprentice identification card shall expire one year from the date of issue. The apprentice shall submit an application to the Division for an updated apprentice identification card. Said application shall be accompanied by a fee of $35 paid by the apprentice or the program sponsor.”
Section 11W of Chapter 23 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by inserting, in line 16, after the word “apprentice;” as it first appears, the following words:
“the date on which the apprentice identification card expires;”
