Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 137 of chapter 33 of the general laws, as most recently appearing in the 2000 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after the words “matriculation fee,” the following, “and such other fees as may be required by the institution where the student is enrolled, but not including optional fees.”
SECTION 2. Section 137 of chapter 33 of the general laws, as most recently appearing in the 2000 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after the first paragraph, the following sentence, “In addition, the student may be offered on-campus residence at one-half the amount normally charged for room and board on a space available basis.”
