AN ACT RELATIVE TO VETERANS’ BURIAL BENEFITS

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 8 of chapter 115 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by deleting, in line 2, the figure “$2,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:-- “$3,000”.

            SECTION 2. Said section 8, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by deleting, in line 4, the figure “$3,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:-- “$5,000”.

            SECTION 3. Said section 8, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by deleting, in line 13, the figure “$500” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:-- “$750”.

            SECTION 4. Said section 8, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by deleting, in line 14, the figure “$900” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:-- “$1200”.
