AN ACT TO FURTHER AMEND THE PROVISIONS OF THE COMMUNITY PRESERVATION ACT IN BARNSTABLE COUNTY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.

Subsection (h) of section 298 of chapter 149 of the Acts of 2004, as amended by sections 130 to 133 of chapter 352 of the Acts of 2004, is hereby further amended by adding in the first sentence, after the word “Any,” the words “appropriation for maintenance and improvement pursuant to section 5 of chapter 293 of the acts of 1998 and any”; and by adding, after the word “may be” the words “expended by the town pursuant to section 5 of chapter 293 of the acts of 1998 and.”

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
