A communication from the Honorable Michael R. Knapik, Minority Caucus Chair, announcing the election by the caucus on January 7, 2009, of the Honorable Richard R. Tisei of Middlesex and Essex as the Minority Leader of the Senate for the 2009-2010 legislative session; and

A communication from the Honorable Richard R. Tisei, Senate Minority Leader, announcing the following appointments:
