Met at eleven o’clock A.M. (Mr. Petruccelli in the Chair).
The Chair (Mr. Petruccelli), members, guests and employees then recited the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
The following communication was read and placed on file, to wit:
A communication from the Honorable Richard R. Tisei, Minority Leader, announcing the appointment of Senator Bruce E. Tarr to serve as his designee on the Massachusetts Creative Economy Council (pursuant to Section 1 of Chapter 354 of the Acts of 2008).
The following resolutions (having been filed with the Clerk) were severally considered forthwith and adopted, as follows:—
Resolutions (filed by Ms. Jehlen and Mr. Galluccio) “congratulating Jack Hamilton on the occasion of his retirement January 23, 2009 following 25 years as Executive Director of the Community Action Agency of Somerville”; and
Resolutions (filed by Ms. Walsh) “congratulating Eric P. White on the occasion of his Court of Honor.”
On motion of Mr. Tisei,—
Ordered, That when the Senate adjourns today, it adjourn to meet again on Tuesday next at eleven o’clock A.M.
On motion of Mr. Donnelly, at three minutes past eleven o’clock A.M., the Senate adjourned to meet again on Tuesday next at eleven o’clock A.M.
