Met according to adjournment, at eleven o'clock A.M. (Mr. Travaglini in the Chair).

Distinguished Guest.

The Chair (Mr. Travaglini) turned the gavel over to Senator Tarr, who introduced Mr. Mark Haberland of Rockport. Senator Tarr noted that Mr. Haberland is a guidance counselor at Gloucester High School, who has had a significant impact on students at the high school.

Petition.

Mr. Travaglini in the Chair, Mr. Brewer presented a petition (subject to Joint Rule 12) of Stephen M. Brewer and Clealand B. Blair for legislation relative to limiting the definition of plumbing,— and the same was referred, under Senate Rule 20, to the committees on Rules of the two branches, acting concurrently.

Recess.

There being no objection, at one minute past eleven o'clock A.M., the Chair (Mr. Travaglini) declared a recess subject to the call of the Chair; and, at eleven minutes before six o'clock P.M., the Senate reassembled, the President in the Chair.

Order Adopted.

On motion of Mr. Rosenberg,—
Ordered, That when the Senate adjourns today, it adjourn to meet again tomorrow at eleven o'clock A.M., and that the Clerk be directed to dispense with the printing of a calendar.
