Chapter 140: Section 15. Disposition of proceeds

Section 15. The proceeds of such sale, after deducting reasonable charges and expenses incurred in the storage and sale of such property, shall be applied to the discharge of the lien of such innholder thereon for the board, lodging and other charges of such guest, and any proceeds remaining thereafter shall be paid to the commonwealth.
