Section 21. If a person is drawn and returned to serve as a juror in a court, the selectmen or the city clerk, respectively, shall endorse on the ballot the date of the draft and return it to the box; and when there is a revision and renewal of the ballots in the box, the date of all the drafts made within the time provided in section two shall be transferred to the new ballots.
