Chapter 56 of the Acts of 2000


AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF ORLEANS TO PAY CERTAIN CLAIMS.


Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


Notwithstanding section 13 of chapter 40of the General Laws, the town administrator of the town of Orleans, with the approval of the board of selectmen, may pay claims not exceeding $50,000 without appropriation of the town meeting from the Municipal Building Insurance Fund of the town.
