Welcome to the photo gallery of the State Library of Massachusetts. The State Library of Massachusetts, also known as The George Fingold Library, was established in 1826 with a collection of maps, statute books, and government documents. See our history page for more about the State Library of Massachusetts.
The library is open to anyone who needs to use the collections. Borrowing privileges are limited to permanent state employees, with the exception of employees of state colleges, universities, and hospitals.
