The federally funded Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Title I ITA program is for individual job seekers who need occupational skills training in order to successfully reenter the workforce.

Participants can choose from a pre-approved list of training courses. ITA eligible courses are approved on a regional level by the local Workforce Investment Board (LWIB).

Each LWIB establishes the approval criteria for its local area and providers must submit information to each of the LWIBS for those areas for which they wish to make their training courses available.

TrainingPro will make it easy for training providers to seek WIA Title I ITA approval for each local area - with a single course submission. The system will apply all relevant local criteria to determine those areas for which the course may be approved.
